Though I don't claim to be a Democrat, Republican, or tied to any other political party, I have done what everyone should do: I've formed an opinion regarding the much-debated issues that plague our world, more specifically, the all-too-tolerant culture of the United States of America.
We really do seem to do whatever we want in the "land of the free". Far too many people act irresponsibly, indulging themselves in scandalous pleasures, doing their best to ignore and avoid any unfavorable consequences for their actions. Most make no attempts to better themselves, but, hey, we all have our own lives to ruin, right? We complain about how screwed up our government is and always blame "society" for our misfortunes. But to be a better society, we have to be better individuals. This web site reflects on the intolerable actions that people get away with every day, some of which may be perfectly legal in the U.S., but that doesn't necessarily make them morally or socially acceptable. We're too hung up on legalism and rights when we should be focused on what's right. I hope to shed some light on the problems we face and what me might do to confront them. Our views and behaviors must change in order for us to improve as a collective human civilization. |
